SantaTracker

Tonight, I will point the iSight camera in my computer towards the tree and set the software to record with motion detection.

Let’s see if we can catch Santa in the act.

Or sneaky children trying to get a peek before morning.

Even more than a year after Joshua’s first family trip to Disney World, he still talks about it endlessly. Every time he walks by the photo collage of our trip that hangs in the living room, he will talk about every detail for the next hour.

So I’ve decided that it’s time to go back. Time to go before he reaches an age where going to Florida would be fun, but he would see no need for his Mom and Dad to tag along.

The tentative date is some time in October of 2008 for Mickey’s Halloween festivities. You all should know how much “we” love Halloween in this family.

So it’s time to start scrimping and saving. All my family and friends who sent us a Check or Cash for Christmas, no matter how much, can be assured that the money has been tucked away in our Vacation savings . You now know where that money will go, and how happy it will make Joshua.

I swear, Joshua has never smiled like he did when he had breakfast with Mickey and Stitch.

To do this trip to the nines, according to my calculations, I have tuck about $3,000 more under my mattress in a little under 10 months to reach my goal amount. No sweat. Thank God for Income Tax returns and overtime.

Move Over Britney

There is a new train wreck in town.

In the form of a pregnant teenager.

16 year old Jamie Lynn Spears announced to the world that she was expecting.

Now, I don’t know about you, but when I look at those to kids, the first thing that comes to my mind is how wonderful their mother’s parenting skills must have been. And I also think: PLEASE GOD, PLEASE. Will their mom write a book on parenting skills? So I can read it and be sure my son grows up to be a well rounded adult? And Maybe a successful pop star? Because that would be great! A New York Times best seller for sure!

Nope. Not gonna happen. God has a sick sense of humor.

Happy Birthday to me
on 17/12/2007 - like it?

Sleet and Ice. But it’s all past now. I planned ahead. Instead of celebrating my birthday on my birthday (Sunday, Dec. 16th) We did it Friday night instead. So take that, mother Nature.

Melissa got me a small paperback book titled “Forbidden Knowledge: 101 Things Not Everyone Should Know How to Do

Want to learn how to break into a car? Throw a punch? Count Cards? Or how about stage a coup? Then the book may be for you. I am pretty sure I already knew how to do all of those things, Thanks to some less than reputable friends I had in college. But I did highly enjoy the books sense of layout, typography, and guerrilla like graphics.

Pretty Cool.
