Radio Sucks

This morning I found the roof antenna for my Sirius Radio in 2 pieces. With this necessary part broken, the radio does not function. I’ve ordered a replacement antenna for the caravan and the Honda, (i suspect that moving the antenna from one car to another several times a month lead to it’s demise) but until the new one arrives I am left to listen to regular old-fashioned radio on my daily commute.

I feel like I am living in the dark ages. I can’t wait for my new antenna to come. Terrestrial radio, it’s commercials, and the FCC all suck.

If you have not yet taken the leap to Satellite Radio (be it Sirius or XM, they will soo be the same anyway) I recommend you do so. Next to broadband, It is the best $12.95 a month I spend.

Do you ever listen to Sirrius in your home? My commute is about 5miniutes, so I’m not sure it’s worth the investment.

Sirius has some good home kits… plus access to many sirius music and talk channels on-line streaming. If you work from home alot.. or listen on-line in the office… it also makes it worth it. I have it play over the computer in the pharmacy.

I totally agree. I haven’t listened to testical radio in 2 1/2 yrs since signing up for Sirius. I carry cd’s in my car just in case I forget my Stiletto(which rarely happens), no way will I resort to tuning into FM ever again!
